Mitose
Art by João Lira
In Nala's radiant embrace, he strides,
A mortal form unfurling, cast aside.
The divine pulse courses deep within,
Whispering change, a metamorphosis to begin.
From mouth to chin, a second birth,
An echo twisted into the earth.
Inverted lips, a mirrored jaw,
A face reborn with a sacred flaw.
He stands, transformed and glorified,
Embracing its power with unfeigned pride.
In every split, in every altered line,
He finds the divine in his reborn design.
